Sweden: JCDecaux deploys interactive bus shelters based on LM3LABS’s ubiq’window
JCDecaux Sweden began the roll-out of interactive bus shelters based on the Franco-Japanese LM3LABS’s ubiq’window digital solution. During this first phase, a total of 15 units has been installed. The interactive shelters display information on bus lines and connections, letting commuters enter their destination, station or itinerary (see video here). At a later stage, they will be displaying advertising (ad-games, interactive advertising, edutainment …).
The terminals, which can be remotely updated via a 3G connection, have been designed to withstand large crowds and the harsh climate conditions of the country.
The installations are managed by the Swedish ubiq’window distributor, Touchme.
It should be noted that LM3LABS is currently looking for partners in France and Europe. See our recent interview with Nicolas Loeillot.
