China now has 548,000 Digital Signage Screens – Public Transport Sector Shows Most Growth

AnalysisInternationallogo At the end of the first semester of 2009, China had 548,000 digital signage screens according to the latest figures from Analysis.

The “Bus & Metro” sector has seen the biggest growth, and now accounts for 39.1% of all screens, followed by buildings and offices with 18.6%, stations (15.8%), hospitals and pharmacies (9.4%), shopping centres (8.8%), aeroplanes (5.2%), schools (1.3%) and outdoor LED screens at 0.03%.
