France: JCDecaux To Install Digital Signage at Bordeaux Airport
JCDecaux Airport has been awarded the advertising contract at Bordeaux Airport for an 8 year period.
Under the terms of the agreement, JCDecaux will install ‘innovative digital and experiential advertising networks’ as well as panels to promote retailers at the airport.
This is also the first contract secured by JCDecaux Airport that provides a ‘carbon neutral’ offering. The company will ‘offset’ the CO2 emissions related to the operation of the advertising structures and will also provide a ‘green electricity certificate’ to prove the use of renewable energy to power the advertising displays.
Handling a total of 3.3 million passengers in 2009, Bordeaux Airport is France’s fifth largest regional airport.
