China: Digital Out-of-Home Ad Spend Hits €150M in Q4 2009
According to Enfodesk and Analysys, spending on digital Out-of-Home in China reached €150M during the 4th trimester of 2009, an increase of 4.5% over the previous trimester, but still down 10% compared to the same period in 2008.
The results are due to the general improvement in the economic climate.
However, over the whole year, spending was down to €560M. The market suffered on the one hand from the contraction of advertising budgets, and on the other hand from the difficult access to capital for operators, slowing down the extension or creation of networks.
