Dirk Hülsermann, President of OVAB Europe delivered a precise account of the current state of the DOOH sector (see presentation below). If 2009 was a tough year, scarred by a wave of consolidations, then 2010 should see the market rebounding, helped by an influx of new capital.

These newly raised funds will strengthen network development and facilitate continued consolidation in the sector.

Dirk also called on all actors in the sector to integrate mobile phone applications into digital signage installations, in order to drive new business models.
