USA: Akoo Expands Reach to College Campuses

AkooilldeAkoo today announced agreements with some of new universities that will make its interactive video programming available to an additional 330,000 college students across the U.S.

Newly signed schools rolling out Akoo’s social TV network include the University of Colorado, Boulder; George Mason University; the University of Kentucky; the University of Utah; the University of Tennessee; Creighton University; Tulane University; Grambling State University; Bowling Green State University; the University Center of Chicago, serving Roosevelt, Columbia, and De Paul; and Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, among others.

Akoo’s programming will be available in highly trafficked student unions, large dining areas, and popular recreational centers on campuses, where large numbers of students gather every day for extended periods of time. Akoo will deploy a total of 10-20 high-definition TV screens and a professional audio system in each environment.
