The Netherlands: New Amsterdam Metro Carriages Supplied with Integrated Digital Signage Screens

alstom_logo The City of Amsterdam has just placed an order worth around 200 million Euros with Alstom Transport for 23 metro carriages from the Métropolis range. All will be supplied fitted with digital signage screens.

They are planned to come into commercial service on the Amsterdam network towards the end of 2012.

The present contract also includes an option for additional carriages to be used on the new North/South line, which is currently under construction.
