Austria: y-doc Announces 49% Turnover Increase in 2009

y-doc, a leading digital signage network installed in doctors’ waiting rooms in Austria, has posted a 49% increase in turnover in 2009.
The increase is due largely to the acquisition of new advertisers, such as L’Oréal (La Roche Posay), Darbo AG, MAM Babyartikel GmbH, Astellas Pharma, Janssen Cilag and Paul Hartmann GmbH.
The company has also published a study carried out last year showing the attention paid to the media: 99.5% of patients watch the screens during their waiting time, of these, 70% watched carefully, or very carefully. Further, 86.8% of viewers discussed the contents of the network with friends and family, and 88.8% with their doctors.
y-doc was created in 1999 and now covers 750 waiting-rooms across the country.
