A seminar on the use of digital communications networks in retail banking will be presented by the Platt Retail Institute (PRI) on May 5th from 2-4:30 p.m. at Screenmedia Expo in London.

The program comprises three sessions:

Integrating a Branch Digital Signage Network into the Overall Marketing Mix features Dr. Kristof Szabo, Former Head of Multi-channel Marketing; Member of the Directors Board, Raiffeisen Bank-Hungary, Czech Republic.  This session will focus on multi-channel marketing in bank branches and how digital communications, from digital signage to mobile marketing, fit into the mix.

Methods to Determine an ROI from a Branch Digital Signage Network will be presented by Steven Keith Platt, Director and Research Fellow, PRI.  Extensive research on the use of digital communications network in retail banking has been conducted by PRI and it is the first research firm to monetize the value of shifting customers from the full-service teller window to an ATM.

Best practices:  a Review of Branch Bank Networks that Succeed will include case studies presented by George Tsompanidis, Marketing Branch Network, EFG Eurobank Ergasias S.A., Athens, Greece; and Bruno Fourdin, Communication BNP Parisbas Technologies et Processus, BNP Parisbas, France. They will discuss the steps they took to plan and deploy digital signage networks in their bank branches and provide valuable information on how to avoid the potential pitfalls that could derail a network implementation.
