UK: Screen Digest Predicts 20% Increase in DOOH Advertising in 2010

screendigestlogo Media research company Screen Digest is predicting a 20% increase in advertising investment in DOOH in the UK for 2010.

Despite the difficulties of last year, DOOH advertising increased by 10% in 2009 according to the OAA (compared to growth of +57% in 2008 and of +42% in 2007). The year was “saved” by a strong increase (+30%) in Q4 2009, which appears to be continuing.

In the UK, DOOH now represents almost 10% of all out of home advertising.
