Canada : OBN Sells it LED Screens Network due to Lack of Advertising Revenues
Dave Haynes already hinted in his blog – Outdoor Broadcast Network has decided to let go its national network of LED screens and concentrate only on its static and digital panels in Yonge Dundas Square in Toronto.
The reasons given are the lack of advertising revenues in the DOOH sector in Canada (around $50 million, according to Peter Irwin, President of OBN) and the increasing number of actors sharing the market.
OBN has 36 screens in 14 markets and is currently involved in negotiations to dispose of them.
