STRATACACHE has announced its plans to invest $2 million in the purchase and renovation of a dormant ‘big box’ retail site in Huber Heights, OH.

This 50,000 square foot facility will provide a new base of operations for STRATACACHE’s current production center staff and also serve as a configuration/staging site to house its digital media systems production operations.

STRATACACHE will move production operations from its current facility located on E. Third Street in Dayton into the Huber Heights facility by November 1, 2010. The new site—with approximately five times the amount of space of the current production facility—will allow the company to increase digital media player production and configuration from 50,000 to 250,000+ units per year.

In addition, the company anticipates hiring 8 to 10 new employees for this location over the next 18 months.
