Primesight DOOH network Primevision is now running at five stations of Glasgow’s circular subway system. The digital displays are positioned in the public concourse and entry areas, on platform walls, and across the track at the Partick, Shields Road, Hillhead, Buchanan Street and St. Enoch stations.

Each unit incorporates an embedded PC, which runs a signagelive CMS solution, networking gear and a 55” Samsung SM550EXn panel. The system has been provided and implemented by Harp Visual Communications. The company is also in charge of the maintenance and day-to-day running of the installation.

Contrary to the London DOOH network, Primevision is not 100% advertising. Commercial messages are blended with updated news, sports and weather information in data feeds provided through a partnership with Scotland TV, and integrated with signagelive. An STV news segment runs every 3.5 minutes.
