AirMedia Group Inc. and China Central Television International Mobile Media Ltd. (CCTV Mobile Media), a subsidiary of China Central Television (CCTV), have established a strategic partnership to broadcast CCTV Air Channel, a new TV channel produced by CCTV Mobile Media, to air travelers in China.

AirMedia will show the channel on its digital screen network installed in 39 airports and on the aeroplanes of 9 airlines. It will also exclusively sell advertising space.

According to the agreement, all advertising revenue generated under this partnership will be fully allocated to AirMedia.

The 15 year contract will run until November 28, 2025.
