Ram Vision plans to grow its digital estate to 74 UK shopping malls in 2011 (vs 41 as of now). This expansion will be enhanced by the installation of “the latest generation of large iconic screens”, which will be provided by MMD-Philips.
The agreement includes an underwritten buyback guarantee for the hardware. Since the buyback guarantee makes the acquisition of the screens a proposition for asset finance the company is in advanced talks with prospective lenders.
MMD-Philips is a wholly owned subsidiary of TPV Technology Limited, the largest monitor maker in the world. TPV operates an exclusive brand licence with Philips, the Electronics giant.
