Dirk Hülsermann joins NEC Display Solutions Europe as the Manager for the company’s newly established DOOH Solutions business. Dirk will be responsible to implement the market launch of NEC’s DOOH ad-serving platform VUKUNET, an “automated hard- and software independent web platform which represents the whole workflow of a DOOH campaign ranging from planning, booking and distribution of the ads to proof-of-play and billing in DOOH networks”.

Dirk Hülsermann started his career at a well-known German industrial company before moving to Kyocera in 1997, where he became Director for Marketing and Corporate Communications in 2001. In 2005 his path took him to Mitsui Europe, where as Business Development Manager EMEA in the Investment Division he was responsible for strategic investment in the fields of New Media and Digital-Out-Of-Home. Over the last three years Dirk worked as Director Business Development International for Neo Advertising.

Dirk is also (and remains) President of OVAB Europe.
