IFE Services, one of the world’s leading in-flight entertainment (IFE) providers, has announced the formation of a strategic alliance with AirMedia Group. Under the agreement, IFE Services and AirMedia will pool content resources when appropriate and work closely together “to provide airlines in China and the rest of the world with innovative and original in-flight entertainment that their passengers will enjoy”.

AirMedia has distribution rights to a wide and diverse range of Chinese entertainment content, including movies and TV programmes. The company also operates the largest digital media network in China dedicated to air travel advertising, operating screens in 37 major airports and selling advertisements on routes operated by 9 airlines, including the 3 largest inChina.

Headquartered in the UK, IFE Services has been supplying in-flight entertainment services to airlines for two decades and has relationships with all of the Hollywood studios and over 250 content suppliers globally. The company’s client base currently includes over 45 airlines across all regions.
