Canada: Cruise Media Group Acquires MedXTV
Digital health media company Cruise Media Group announced yesterday that it had acquired MedXTV, a Hospital-based Digital Network in Ontario. MedXTV runs in venues such as the regional hospitals in Orangeville, Alliston and Brantford, as well as York Central and Mount Sinai in Toronto, and reaches five million viewers annually.
Following the transaction, the company will operate under Cruise Media’s Momentum Health Network (MHN) banner. Content programming will be revised and the management and sales teams will report to Cruise Media Group.
MHN, now the largest hospital-based Digital Health Network in Canada, has digital screens in more than 335 medical clinics and hospitals across the country and an annual viewership of about 20 million viewers.
