Brazil: DOOH Ad Spend Up 58% in 2010
According to Projeto Inter-Meios , advertising spending in the DOOH sector in Brazil reached €64 M (R$148 M) in 2010, an increase of 58% over 2009 (€40.5 M / R$94 M).
The media experienced the strongest growth of the overall OOH market which grew by 16.2% to €330 M (R$765 M) over the year. DOOH represented 19% of total OOH spend.
This trend looks set to continue during 2011: digital signage ad spend is expected to reach nearly €105 M (R$240 M) meaning a growth rate of over 60%.
