Migratory Music and Ovation have recently installed their Ovation Towers, the entertainment industry’s first live digital music distribution and HD advertising kiosks designed for major venue installations, at LA’s Greek Theatre. The Towers allow concert-goers to order the live album of the show they’re attending before, during or after the performance via email download or upload to their portable device of choice.

Founded by Ian Murray, Berklee College of Music grad and President of Migratory Music, Ovation not only acts as a new distribution vehicle for multiple facets of the industry, but provides a new HD advertising platform, helping venues and advertisers target the active digital consumer base in attendance.

“Most albums you seeing topping the charts today have an interesting story attached that engages the consumer. Nothing beats the feeling or story created by a great live performance,” says Murray. “We are offering instant gratification to live music fans in the form of a digital impulse buy.”
