Germany: Wall (JCDecaux) Launches U Snap with Partnership on New Lady Gaga Album Release
JCDecaux has started international deployment of U Snap, by introducing the service to the German market at the beginning of this week.
The launch was managed by its affiliate Wall, and featured a partnership with Universal for the release of the new Lady Gaga album. Some 15,000 posters were deployed across the country. When ‘snapped’, users have access to a large range of artist-related content: music videos, pre-release access to new songs, and a game with CDs and concert tickets as prizes.
U snap was first launched in France in October 2010. Nearly 260 brands have already used the service as part of their campaigns, and the app has been downloaded over 70,000 times.
