Canada: PATTISON Wins TTC Advertising Rights

PATTISON Outdoor Advertising has been awarded the advertising rights for the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) effective January 1st, 2012.
The 12 year contract – that covers all advertising opportunities on or in Buses, Streetcars, Subway trains and stations – includes two 5-year renewal options. The minimum guarantee payment to the TTC over the first 12 years is $324 million.
In addition to that contract, there are opportunities for potential new advertising initiatives such as digital screens, digital king posters and naming rights for stations. Any new opportunities would be considered separately and all require TTC approval.
Bob Leroux, VP General Manager, PATTISON Outdoor Advertising said, “With the addition of Toronto, we now represent 10 of the top 11 transit markets in Canada.[…]. We are excited to be able to build on the partnership already established through ONEstop Media Group (now a division of PATTISON) with the TTC. We look forward to bringing new initiatives to advertisers as a full-service media company that can address all their advertising needs.”
