Czech Republic: Interactive Campaign on Prague Museum Facade

19 July 2011 10 h 55 min

Infinitus_Skoda_Laegas_DelaneyIn order to help finance the restoration of the Prague Museum, a large sheet with a picture of the latest Skoda Yeti model has been attached to the façade. To bring the campaign to life, the Laegas Delaney ad agency designed an interactive feature using a 2m X 2m LED screen which invites the citizens of Prague to “add a smile to their museum”.

Passers-by are invited to share photos of themselves smiling which are then displayed on the digital screen. To send their contributions, participants have two choices: either they can upload their photo to a dedicated web site; or they can use a 46” outdoor screen in portrait format installed in front of the building. The device is fitted with a webcam and an internet connection which can take a picture and then put it online on the site. The screen, which was supplied by Infinitus, a specialist provider for outdoor digital signage, also features additional information about the Skoda Yeti range.
