UK: ITV and Kinetic Bring Rugby World Cup Updates to DOOH Networks Across London

Kinetic_logoITV and Kinetic launched last week, an innovative Out of Home campaign to bring the Rugby World Cup to commuters. The campaign  keeps fans up to date with results and pictures from the games as they come in overnight and in the morning.

The updates, run by an RSS feed, are pulsed through to a network of digital screens, located in London, in rail terminals, underground stations, airport business lounges, petrol forecourts, roadside billboards and the Reuters screen at Canary Wharf.

Paul Ridsdale, Head of Marketing for ITV Sport commented: “To celebrate ITV’s exclusive coverage of the Rugby World Cup we wanted to keep fans up to date whilst they are on the move. Digital OOH allows us to react to the events of the tournament as they unfold. […] Digital OOH also makes commuters aware of the different ways to watch the action with ITV including on mobile.”
