Spain: JCDecaux Launches MouTV in Barcelona’s Bus and Underground System

JCDecaux , together with partner Transportes Metropolitanos de Barcelona (TMB), has launched MouTV, a new DOOH network in the Catalan capital’s bus and underground system.

The new network, which follows on from Canal Metro Barcelona, has 19 inch screens inside 48 buses, large format projection screens on the platforms of 31 underground stations, 126 screens of 32 and 42 inches on platforms at other stations, and a digital wall measuring 4 meters by 2.25 meters at the “Espana” station on line1.

In terms of content, MouTV shows general news, weather forecasts, passenger information and advertising.

It will have 1,200 screens by the end of 2011, and 2,000 by the end of 2012.
