France: Le Figaro Newspaper Uses Visual Recognition App and Push SMS to Launch “I Love Paris” Supplement

JCDecaux_USnap_Le_Figaro_MRégie_deDaily newspaper Le Figaro is currently running an interactive poster campaign with JCDecaux’s visual recognition app U snap and a push SMS operation from M-régie, to promote its new supplement “J’aime Paris “(“I Love Paris”).

M-régie selected 40,000 smart-phone users living in the Ile de France (Paris and its neighbouring districts) and sent them a message saying: “Are you a Parisian ? Download U Snap, take a picture of the “J’aime Paris” poster and try to win a one-month free subscription to the Figaro.”

The campaign runs through until October 18 in Paris and the Ile de France region.
