France: Le Figaro Newspaper Uses Visual Recognition App and Push SMS to Launch “I Love Paris” Supplement
Daily newspaper Le Figaro is currently running an interactive poster campaign with JCDecaux’s visual recognition app U snap and a push SMS operation from M-régie, to promote its new supplement “J’aime Paris “(“I Love Paris”).
M-régie selected 40,000 smart-phone users living in the Ile de France (Paris and its neighbouring districts) and sent them a message saying: “Are you a Parisian ? Download U Snap, take a picture of the “J’aime Paris” poster and try to win a one-month free subscription to the Figaro.”
The campaign runs through until October 18 in Paris and the Ile de France region.
