International Men’s Day is celebrated every November 19 and was established in 1992, in the United States, by Tomas Oaster, of the Center for Men’s Studies at the University and Missouri-Kansas, although this initiative had its first intentions in the decade of the 60, without much success.
This year, the theme on which this celebration is focused focuses on male models who lead positive roles in their community.
Likewise, the date seeks to improve gender relations, reduce discrimination and define the health problems that affect men.
