The professor reveals his exceptional IQ and he becomes the laughing stock of social networks!

Professor Didier Raoult has once again spilled some ink. The famous specialist in infectious diseases from Marseille has indeed revealed to the press the figures of his intelligence quotient and the latter is quite simply exceptional! A little too much to be true, it seems … We explain everything to you in this article.

Didier Raoult is a personality as attractive as he is annoying

Since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, the famous Marseille scientist has continued to make the buzz by chaining up provocations. The one who, among other things, defended tooth and nail the use of hydroxychloroquine to fight against the coronavirus, attracts crowds as much as it provokes their annoyance.

Professor Didier Raoul has just been the subject of a new book entitled “Raoult: Une folie française”. Published in June 2021 by Gallimard, this book was written by two journalists (Marie-France Etchegoin and Ariane Chemin) who tried to get to know Didier Raoult more intimately.

Renowned for his disproportionate ego, his megalomania and his provocative outings, he never goes unnoticed during his interviews. The two authors were able to see this when they met Raoult in the flesh for the needs of their work …

Professor Didier Raoult would have an extraordinary IQ!

In one of the chapters of their new book, Marie-France Etchegoin and Ariane Chemin reveal to their readers that they spoke with the sulphurous professor in his office at the IHU Méditerranée Infection in Marseille. The two authors asked him many questions, including the following: ” Have you ever had your intelligence measured?“.

The professor’s response left them speechless. Far from being destabilized by this question, Didier Raoult indeed confided to them that his intelligence quotient had been the subject of an evaluation while he was in full adolescence. And, as you might expect, the results have been exceptional.

“I am going to tell you something that I have never told other people outside my family,” replied Raoult. “When I was 14, a child psychiatrist told my father, ‘Listen, your son has an IQ of 180. Let him run free. Everything will be alright “.

Too high to be honest …

If the revelation of the Marseille professor turns out to be unexpected, it nonetheless seems doubtful… Marie-France Etchegoin and Ariane Chemin indeed recall that the average IQ is between 90 and 110. As a reminder, Beethoven had an IQ of 140 and Albert Einstein an IQ of 160. As for the largest current intelligence quotient, it stands at 230! It is owned by Terence Tao, a 42-year-old Australian mathematician who has received a considerable number of science awards.

On the Web, Internet users have obviously been numerous to react to this confidence of Professor Raoult. Reactions which quickly turned into teasing, even taunting… “Raoult is the new Chuck Norris! », Says a person on Twitter. “The IQ stops at 160, he has one of 180!” Or even 360… At this point, it doesn’t change much… ”
